Genomics Shared Resource

The Genomics Shared Resource offers cancer center members a full range of services, from biosamples (such as blood) to handoff through assays and analyses. Our molecular cytogenetics services include processing biosamples to extract nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) with which Genomics and Epigenomics personnel can perform sequencing assays. We regularly work with single-cell assays such as single-cell transcriptomic assays (scRNA-seq, ± analysis of immune repertoire, cell surface proteins, CRISPR tags), and chromatin assays (scATAC-seq, scChIP-seq, scCUT&Tag).

Our Computational Genomics personnel work directly with cancer center members on bioinformatic analyses and the interpretation of complex data. By supporting sample preparation and data analysis of clinical sequencing, we assist in delivering unique insights regarding the Bronx patient population’s genomic information.
